The truth is, life is short.
So short, and with that c*nt Cancer everywhere it's become increasingly shorter. Has it always been this way? Or is it because we are always connected to the internet and social media that we see and hear about these experiences more often? Is it what we are eating?
Either way, we are losing our loved ones sooner rather than later for various reasons right before for our eyes. The trouble is, you think you have time. Live life to the fullest, no regrets. Do what you want, when you want, don't let anything restrict you. Seriously. Just go for it.
We hear far too often from engaged couples who have been planning their weddings; how they had kept putting it off because of money and then they lost their nearest or dearest and now they wish they never put off their special day so that special someone could have witnessed their beautiful union.
Recently, we had the pleasure of helping design and deliver a beautiful garden party style wedding that was at a home in St. Heliers, Auckland, New Zealand. We helped plan it with the best friend of the bride-to-be and the Groom - because the bride-to-be was about to have surgery, start chemotherapy then get married the next day! What a solider. We were contacted on a Saturday morning and they wanted this joyous occasion to take place on the Thursday. That's five days to execute. Cut a long story short, it was the best day of their lives! They absolutely loved their special day and because their wedding was at their home, the Bride was able to enjoy her flowers even longer!!! And even considering the circumstance, I'm sure our couple wouldn't have had it any other way. It was perfect for them.
Do what's perfect for you.
With that being said... Money come, money go. Don't let financial situations set you back... Or set you back for too long. The truth is, not everyone is going to have a million dollar wedding... You do what's perfect for you. Live your best life. But if it's important to you, don't create barriers between you and your dreams because life is too short. Make it happen.
Time and money go hand and hand... As you grow, you realise time is much more valuable than money. Time is not measured by clocks but by moments. Time is free but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it, you can never get it back. Create memories with the ones you love now.
